Venetian Dream Drawings

These seven drawings were made on a 5"x7"  Fabriano hot press watercolor block that I had with me on my trip to Venice in April of 2009. Shortly before waking on my first morning there, I had a dream that I was drawing. This dream took me off the grid into another world of building. These drawings were the beginning of  a new direction in my work.
